January 2026
Planned visit by the EA Fisheries Officer to walk our Morton Bridge Upstream waters to review habitat & discuss restocking. Stocking permit applied for the river with a view to introducing additional chub later this year. We have also arranged a survey to be carried out by the Wild Brown Trout Trust, again of our upstream waters to establish factors influencing fry survival etc.
2026 - Membership Renewal
A reminder that membership must be renewed prior to fishing the club waters. Also, we have places available for NEW members this year.

19/01/2025 - First Match of the year.
Apparently a very cold day and the chub seemed to be in a no feeding mood. Match won with 2 chub for 8lb 13oz. Backing weights were all grayling with 2nd place being only 1oz behind the winner, at 8lb 12oz.
